For students in Ceuta transitioning to working life, it is essential to establish optimal educa
tional and professional itineraries to meet the needs of their geopolitically transnational
context and their vulnerable situation. The objective of this study is to describe the univer
sity profile of students studying for degrees in Ceuta and their experience of training and
vocational guidance courses. The study uses a descriptive and cross-sectional design. A total
of 210 students studying for different undergraduate degrees in Ceuta were selected through
stratified random sampling, with the aim of determining which student profiles have experi
ence of training and vocational guidance, and to develop a regression model for this purpose.
To collect data, a questionnaire was developed to assess student experiences of training and
career guidance courses. The results reveal that students taking degrees in Education report
more experience of training and career guidance courses than those studying for Nursing or
Business Administration and Management. Likewise, the regression model proved to be valid,
predicting 87.1% of cases and explaining between 0.480 and 0.645 of the dependent vari
able, showing that students with a tendency to take training and career guidance courses are
those enrolled in the first years of their degrees and coming from a Baccalaureate background.; Per a la transició a la vida activa de l’estudiant universitari de Ceuta es fa imprescindible
i orientació laboral.

Within the framework of evidence theory, maximum entropy is regarded as a measure of total uncertainty that satisfies a comprehensive set of mathematical properties and behavioral requirements. However, its practical applicability is severely questioned due to the high computational complexity of its calculation, which involves the manipulation of the power set of the frame of discernment. In the literature, attempts have been made to reduce this complexity by restricting the computation to singleton elements, leading to a formulation based on reachable probability intervals. Although this approach relies on a less specific representation of evidential information, it has been shown to provide an equivalent maximum entropy value under certain conditions. In this paper, we present an experimental comparative study of two algorithms for calculating maximum entropy in evidence theory: the classical algorithm, which operates directly on belief functions, and an alternative algorithm based on reachable probability intervals. Through numerical experiments, we demonstrate that the differences between these approaches are less pronounced than previously suggested in the literature. Depending on the type of information representations to which it is applied, the original algorithm based on belief functions can be more efficient than the one using the reachable probability interval approach. This is an interesting result, and a reason for choosing one algorithm over the other depending on the situation.

in the Spanish education system and the great efforts made by different bodies
to promote this training pathway, many concerns have been raised that perhaps
its launch is not being conducted correctly, which may hinder its success.
The support of the different levels of government, funding and regulations, the
pertinence of the training offered, the role of the companies, the recognition
of teachers, and company-school coordination are some of the issues around
which controversies have arisen since this training model was first implemented.
The purpose of this study is to characterize how this debate is playing out in
the Andalusian education system, based on the opinion of its day-to-day protagonists
‒the teachers involved‒ and on the practices taking place in Andalusian
schools. The paper explores to what extent the teachers’ gender, their experience
in dual training and their degree of involvement in administrative coordination
activities may be conditioning these opinions. A total of 1,445 teachers took part
in the study, out of the 2,164 teachers involved in dual training programmes
in the 2019-20 academic year. The questionnaire was designed ad hoc and the
questions were structured around five dimensions related to issues present in
national debates. The analyses performed indicate that the practices most contribute
to the successful implementation of this training model in Andalusian educational
institutions are those related to the administrative coordination of dual
training programmes and those related to teachers and guidance services. The
practices related to the governance model, academic organisation and the role
of the company are those that show the most room for improvement. Female
teachers, teaching staff who are involved in management and teaching staff with
greater experience in the dual system are those that rate the system most highly.

Leisure is a potential protective factor against risks such as social
exclusion or drug and alcohol consumption. The aim of this
article is identifying the relevance of the management of leisure
activities as a protective factor against these risks. In this
exploratory diagnostic study, 80 semi-structured interviews were
conducted with young people between 18 and 35 years of age
from Melilla. A large majority of the participants considered that
leisure acts as a protective factor against drug consumption and
exclusion and it is an essential component in the configuration of
the social network. Despite this, the local leisure offerings were
valued negatively. These results show that young adults of Melilla
recognize and demand valuable leisure offerings that enable
them to face pressing problems such as the consumption of
drugs and social exclusion. This is not only supported by their
demands but also by various proposals that they raise.
This work was supported through the research contract agreed by article 60 of the Organic Law 2/2023 of 22 March on the University System, entitled "Melilla, Social City. Studies on the effect of COVID-19 on young people and social services professionals" [Melilla, Ciudad Social.
