abstract = {We present an investigation into an iron bridge which can be seen near to the city of Granada, Spain.  It is atypical in this country.
It was originally built in 1905 in a different location to where it is now.  Its creation was the result of an integrated process of design, in which Belgian, British and Spanish techniques were used.
It became unusable due to technical problems at its first location. Some years later it was transferred to another site where it was utilized in a different transport infrastructure.
In this study, we analyze the process of its design and construction and the particular circumstances that were experienced that reveal interesting aspects of bridge engineering of that epoch.},
