This proposal was based on a student-centred caring-teaching approach and consisted of four components: (1) individualised mentoring sessions, (2) interaction of students with professionals invited to the classroom, (3) workshop to develop the students’ self-efficacy beliefs, and (4) fieldwork on a specialization of their choice.
