We uncover tens of new nontrivial zeros as well as hundreds of terms with definite sign in (a particular basis of) the corresponding anomalous dimension matrix. We highlight that our results are not immediately apparent from the Feynman diagrammatic perspective, nor from on-shell amplitude methods. As a by-product of this work, we provide positivity bounds not previously derived in the literature, as well as explicit values of certain elements of the anomalous dimension matrix that serve as a cross-check of our results.}, organization = {Ramón y Cajal Grant No. RYC2019-027155-I funded by the MCIN /AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by “El FSE invierte en tu futuro”}, organization = {Grant No. CNS2022-136024 funded by the European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR}, organization = {Grants No. PID2021-128396NB-I00 and No. PID2022-139466NB-C22 funded by “FEDER Una manera de hacer Europa”}, organization = {Junta de Andalucía Grants FQM 101 and P21-00199}, organization = {National Natural Science Foundation of China under Grant No. 11835013}, publisher = {American Physical Society}, title = {Positivity restrictions on the mixing of dimension-eight SMEFT operators}, doi = {10.1103/PhysRevD.109.065015}, author = {Rodríguez Chala, Mikael and Li, Xue Zeng}, }
