La autora, contemporánea del Grupo del 27, se inscribe dentro de la narrativa social y comprometida de la preguerra civil española. El estudio de este volumen, compuesto por tres relatos, es importante porque anuncia la perspectiva de género y el potencial narrativo que, más tarde, Carnés utilizará en sus obras de madurez.},
abstract = {This paper attempts to analyze the literary mechanisms used by Luisa Carnés in her first work Pilgrims of Calvary(1928). The author, a contemporary of The Generation of 1927, is framed inside the social and committed narrative of the Spanish Civil War. The study of this collection, composed of three stories, is important because it prefigures the gender perspective and narrative potential used by Carnés will later on her mature work.},
