abstract = {En el artículo se parte de la distinción entre tres modos filosóficos de afrontar el arte, que sirve para enmarcar los trabajos que se presentan en el volumen. Después de hacer una breve descripción de su contenido, el autor entra en discusión con quienes defienden la autonomía moderna del arte (García Leal) y también con quienes defienden la vinculación del arte con la praxis humana, tanto en su versión moderada (Bertram) como en su versión radical (i.e. Rodríguez Martín). Basándose en razonamientos provenientes de Pardo y Menke, el autor defiende la existencia de un doble impulso en el arte: por un lado, el arte está a la base de toda praxis social racional, incluso es fundamento del conocimiento científico y de la razón práctica normativa; por otro, en el arte hay también una fuerza que se sitúa en los márgenes de la razón. La adecuada tensión entre ambos es la condición de posibilidad de la libertad humana. Se postula, por consiguiente, que la autonomía del arte es necesaria.},
abstract = {The article begins with the distinction between three philosophical modes of dealing with art, which serves to contextualize the papers presented in the volume. After making a brief description of its content, the author enters into discussion with those who defend the modern autonomy of art (García Leal) and with those who defend the link between art and human praxis, both in its moderate version (Bertram) and in its radical version (Rodríguez Martín). Based on reasoning from Pardo and Menke, the author defends the existence of a double impulse in art: on the one hand, art is at the base of all rational social praxis; it even is the foundation of scientific knowledge and normative practical reason; on the other hand, in art there is also a force that stands at the margins of reason. The adequate tension between the two is the condition of possibility of human freedom. It is postulated, therefore, that the autonomy of art is necessary.},
