abstract = {En la Cabilia (Argelia) el culto a los santos está muy arraigado y constituye una manifestación del islam popular practicado tradicionalmente en la zona. Entre estos personajes santos destacan figuras excepcionales como Ccix Mohand U Lhusin, considerado un exponente de la cultura oral cabilia y un paradigma de la singularidad del islam kabilio. Asimismo, entre las mujeres destaca Lalla Fadhma N’Soumer, símbolo de la resistencia anticolonial y referente actual del movimiento bereber y de los movimientos femeninos. El presente trabajo explora la figura de los santos y santas venerados en la Cabilia desde una doble perspectiva: desde la espiritualidad bereber y desde su consideración de símbolos reapropiados o reinterpretados en beneficio de causas o movimientos de naturaleza heterogénea.},
abstract = {In Kabylia the cult of the saints is deeply rooted and it represents a manifestation of popular Islam traditionally practiced in the region. Among these diverse saints some outstanding personages like Ccix Mohand U Lhusin stand out. He is considered a key figure of the Kabyle oral culture and a paragon of the singularity of Kabyle Islam. Among women, Lalla Fadhma N’Soumer was regarded as a symbol of the anticolonial resistance and nowadays she is a reference of the Berber and the feminist movements. This work aims to explore the saints venerated in Kabylia from a double perspective: from the standpoint of Berber spirituality and from their status as symbols that have been reappropriated or reinterpreted on behalf of various causes and movements.},
