abstract = {Este texto forma parte de la producción inicial de resultados del proyecto I+D+I, denominado "Transición digital, cohesión social e igualdad de género: banca móvil y empoderamiento digital femenino en África" (DIGITALFEM). Este capítulo realiza una revisión bibliográfica sobre las representaciones de las mujeres africanas empresarias en la literatura científica y su conexión con los procesos de digitalización en el continente de forma cronológica. Concretamente, queremos conocer cuál es el papel de la transición digital en las representaciones de las mujeres africanas en la literatura, y se analiza cuando aparecen las primeras conexiones entre los procesos de digitalización en el continente y su relación con las mujeres, por último, se comprueba si esta contribuye a la
transmisión de estereotipos de género y culturales sobre las mismas. Para ello se revisan sistemáticamente las publicaciones existentes disponibles para proceder al análisis de los contenidos. Así, se desvelan diferentes representaciones de las mujeres africanas en la producción científica no sólo académica sino también en documentos técnicos y políticos. Estas representaciones profundizan en las desigualdades y en la representación de las mujeres. Nos centramos en el análisis del emprendimiento femenino y los procesos de digitalización claves en las posibilidades de acceso a las nuevas tecnologías y a las oportunidades que estas ofrecen para las mujeres emprendedoras africanas.},
abstract = {This text is part of the initial output of the I+D+I project "Digital transition, social cohesion and gender equality: mobile banking and female digital empowerment in Africa" (DIGITALFEM). This chapter conducts a literature review on the representations of African women entrepreneurs in the scientific literature and their connection with the digitization processes in the continent chronologically. Specifically, we want to know what is the role of the digital transition in the representations of African women in the literature, and it is analyzed when the first connections appear between the digitalization processes in the continent and their relationship with women, finally, it is checked if this contributes to the transmission of gender and cultural stereotypes about women. To this end, the existing publications available are systematically reviewed in order to analyze their contents. Thus, different representations of African women are revealed in scientific production, not only in academic but also in technical and political documents. These representations deepen the inequalities and the representation of women. We focus on the analysis of female entrepreneurship and the key digitalization processes in the possibilities of access to new technologies and the opportunities they offer for African women entrepreneurs.},
