abstract = {Tiene por finalidad este trabajo identificar y valorar algunos de los riesgos que hoy amenazan la enseñanza de las Ciencias So-ciales, tanto en el ámbito de la formación inicial del profesorado como en el de su enseñanza y aprendizaje en los diversos nive-les de la enseñanza obligatoria. Sin ánimo de exhaustividad, y desde la experiencia profesional de su autor, se plantea un acer-camiento a dicha cuestión junto con una propuesta de posibles retos a asumir cuyo logro puede contribuir a la mejora de la credibilidad y de la calidad de la Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales.},
