durante la etapa morisca granadina (1500-1570). En concreto, en la parte
de esta región que fue el distrito de Órgiva en época nazarí y la alquería
de Busquístar, otorgadas en señorío a Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba en
1499, mediante merced real. Denominada señorío de Órgiva y con una
población mayoritaria de cristianos nuevos o moriscos, quedó sometida a
la administración de ese señor temporal, y sus sucesores, y a la actuación
de la Iglesia. Ofrecemos algunas de sus particularidades, como la gestión
fiscal ejercida por sus titulares y la estructura eclesiástica planificada en su
interior, pasando después a focalizar el trabajo en el enfrentamiento judicial},
abstract = {This study delves into the history of the Alpujarra during
the Moorish period of Granada (1500-1570). Specifically, in the part of this
region that was the district of Órgiva in Nasrid times and the Busquístar
farmhouse, granted in lordship to Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba in
1499, by means of a royal grant. It was named lordship de Órgiva and
with a majority population of new Christians or Moorish, it was subject
to the administration of that temporal lord —and his successors— and to
the actions of the Church. We offer some of its peculiarities, such as the
fiscal management exercised by its owners and the ecclesiastical structure
planned within it, later focusing the work on the judicial confrontation
that its owners maintained with the diocese of Granada, during the central
decades of the 16th century, by the control of certain rents that were
generated in this territory, tithes and pious goods.},
