The hybrid material has a significant drug payload (5.2 ± 0.9 oxime to MOF-808 molar ratio) and shows a sustained oxime release in simulated physiological media, leading to the successful reactivation of OP-inhibited acetylcholinesterase. At the same time, the hybrid system presents an efficient and moderately fast removal rate of a toxic organophosphorus model compound (diisopropylfluorophosphate) from simulated physiological media (t1/2 = 183 min; 95% removal rate after 24 h).}, organization = {MCIN/AEI PID2020-113608RB-I00}, organization = {FEDER/Junta de Andalucia-Consejeria de Transformacion Economica, Industria, Conocimiento y Universidades P20_00672 P18-RT-612}, organization = {University of Granada PPJIA2021.20}, organization = {Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship within the European Union H2020 programme H2020-MSCA-IF-2019-EF-ST-888972-PSustMOF}, organization = {the European Union H2020}, organization = {EU FEDER}, organization = {Garantía Juvenil en I+D+i, PEJ2018-004022-A}, organization = {Universidad de Granada/CBUA}, organization = {Unidad de Excelencia de Química Aplicada a Biomedicina y Medioambiente” (University of Granada).}, publisher = {ACS Publications}, title = {Oxime@Zirconium-Metal−Organic Framework Hybrid Material as a Potential Antidote for Organophosphate Poisoning}, doi = {10.1021/acs.inorgchem.3c00121}, author = {González García, Lydia and Martín Romera, Javier David and Sánchez Sánchez, Purificación and Navarro, Jorge A.
