abstract = {La enseñanza de la Historia no puede desarrollarse de manera satisfactoria obviando las evidencias que, de ella, han quedado en nuestro presente. Entre estas evidencias se encuentran los textos escritos, a través del los cuales, formulándoles las preguntas adecuadas y contextualizando los hechos, podemos acercarnos a conocer, comprender y explicar el tiempo histórico. Esta obra ofrece una selección de textos históricos sobre la Historia de España (Historia Antigua, Historia Medieval cristiana y musulmana, Historia de América española, Historia Moderna e Historia Contemporánea). Pone al alcance tanto de docentes como estudiantes un conjunto de fuentes históricas escogidas de acuerdo a las tendencias historiográficas de los últimos años. De este modo, se aspira a potenciar el contacto, el análisis y la reflexión con algunas de las huellas del pasado que han llegado hasta nosotros, innovando en el aprendizaje y enseñanza de la Historia.},
abstract = {The teaching of history cannot be carried out satisfactorily if we ignore the evidence that has remained in our present. Among this evidence are the written texts, through which, by asking the right questions and contextualising the facts, we can get to know, understand and explain historical time. This work offers a selection of historical texts on the History of Spain (Ancient History, Medieval Christian and Muslim History, History of Spanish America, Modern History and Contemporary History). It provides both teachers and students with a set of historical sources chosen in accordance with the historiographical trends of recent years. In this way, it aims to promote contact, analysis and reflection with some of the traces of the past that have come down to us, innovating in the learning and teaching of history.},
