abstract = {Dentro de los usos sociales del patrimonio el más sonado puede que sea el turístico, pero no es el único. En este trabajo se indaga en el patrimonio universitario como escenario dónde observar otras formas posibles de integrar los bienes patrimoniales en la cotidianidad de la vida de la población local. Para esto se realiza una aproximación etnográfica con miras a estudiar el uso de los espacios que hacen los estudiantes del Campus de Cartuja, perteneciente a la Universidad de Granada. Su objetivo se dirige a identificar el papel que ocupa el patrimonio en la vida universitaria para después elaborar tres propuestas sobre cómo los bienes patrimoniales de este campus pueden funcionar como catalizador de los valores democráticos y de la interdisciplinaridad. Contextualizándolo en el marco urbano, esta aproximación pretende sacar a luz nuevas vías para futuros estudios en el ámbito patrimonial, poniendo el foco en las aportaciones que la Antropología Social y Cultural puede hacer al ámbito material y al estudio de lugares de memoria.},
abstract = {Within the social uses of heritage the most famous may be the tourist, but it is not the only one. This paper explores the university heritage as a frame to observe other possible ways of integrating heritage assets into the daily life of local population. For this, an ethnographic approach is made with a view to studying the use of spaces made by students of the Campus of Cartuja, belonging to the University of Granada. Its objective is to identify the role of heritage in university life and then to develop three proposals on how the heritage of this campus can function as a catalyst for democratic values and interdisciplinarity. Contextualizing it in the city, this approach aims to shed light on new avenues for future studies in the patrimonial sphere, focusing on the contributions that Social and Cultural Anthropology can make to the material sphere and the study of places of memory.},
