Tanto es así que, a lo largo de la historia, esta obra ha sido objeto de diversas traducciones e, incluso, ha viajado a otras dimensiones más allá de las palabras, como el cine. Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado consiste en el análisis de dos traducciones de esta obra: una interlingüística, que se trata de una traducción hacia el español realizada por Guillermo Macpherson y otra intersemiótica, la película musical West Side Story. El objetivo principal es realizar un análisis comparativo de las tres obras con el fin de exponer las diferencias y semejanzas entre estas con la obra original y observar el grado de fidelidad entre la traducción y una obra original.},
abstract = {The influence of William Shakespeare and specifically of his play Romeo and Juliet onculture and its different manifestations is undeniable. In fact, this play has been the target of several translations throughout history. Moreover, it has even travelled toother dimensions beyond words, such as cinema. The aim of this study is to analyse two translations of this work: an interlinguistic one, atranslation into Spanish made by Guillermo Macpherson, and an inter-semiotic one, themusical film West Side Story. The main objective is to carry out a comparative analysis of these works in order to expose the differences and similarities between themandtheoriginal work and to observe the degree of fidelity between the translation and the original work.},
