abstract = {Hayim Palachi pronounced this homily the first month of Adar 5624 (February 1864),  while  Passover  was  approaching.  He  tried  to  fight  ideologically  against  the accusations of  ritual murder that usually were done against the Jews while they were making their bread for Passover. Christians say that blood of Christian´s chil´s is used to make them. At the same time, the  author exalts the magnificent disposition against this belief by the Ottoman rulers and Queen Victory of England, as well as the monetary help provided from three outstanding Jewish leaders: Moses Montefiore, Lionel Rotschild and Abraham Camondo.
