abstract = {Ofrecemos la traducción  castellana  de La Epístola de los Pájaros ('Igeret ha­siporim) hebreo de la famosa Risalat at Tayr (Epístola de los Pájaros) del célebre filósofo Avicena (m. 1037) que forma parte de un ciclo de tratados alegóricos del autor. A diferencia del original el poeta hispanohebreo  adopta en su obra algunos recursos narrativos propios del género de la maqama (el modo de expresión,  las fórmulas fijas introductorias,  la participación  de dos protagonistas:  el narrador y el héroe, etc.) A pesar de que mantiene algunas características comunes   con  la  maqama clásica,  su  carácter   eminentemente   simbólico,   hace  que  la incluyamos en un nuevo subgénero,  la maqama legórica.},
abstract = {We offer the Spanish traslation of the The Epistle of the Birds (or 'Igeret ha­siporim) version on the famous Risalat at-Tayr (the Epistle ofthe Bird) by the celebrated philosopher Avicenna (d. 1037), and it takes part of an allegorical treatises' collection of him. The Spanish hebrew poet introduces in its work, distinctly from the original, sorne narrative techniqhes typical of the maqama's genre (the means of expression, the introductory fixed formulas, the participation oftwo players: a narrator andan erudite hero, etc.). Even iftake part in it sorne characteristics ofthe maqama's genre, its symbolically nature inserts it in a new category, the allegorical maqama.},
