abstract = {Este texto forma parte de un proyecto de investigación antropológica -subvencionado por el Ministerio de Trabajo y Asuntos Sociales, realizado durante el año 2006 en la Comunidad de Madrid-  cuyo objetivo principal era analizar los cambios que están teniendo lugar en los modelos de convivencia familiar, en particular, el caso de las familias reconstituidas después de la separación/divorcio. En este texto concreto se analizan, a través del uso que los actores hacen de la terminología de parentesco, propia de la familia nuclear, las percepciones y representaciones mutuas que existen en los hogares recompuestos entre las nuevas parejas de los padres/madres con custodia/sin custodia y los hijos no comunes, y entre los hermanos (siblings), medio hermanos (halfsiblings) y hermanastros (stepsiblings).},
abstract = {This paper is part of a research project in Anthropology, funded by the Ministry of Work and Social Affairs, and carried out in 2006 in the Autonomous Community of Madrid, Spain. The primary goal of this project was to analyse the changes in models of family structure, particularly the case of families reconstituted after separation/divorce. Looking at how people use kinship terms that commonly are applied to members of the nuclear family, we analyse the perceptions and joint representations that exist in homes reconstituted by new married couples. The actors involved in the new familiar arrangements are the father/mother with or without child custody, his/her new spouse, the children of one or two of the spouses, siblings, half-siblings, and step-siblings.},
