abstract = {The purpose of this work is to show the importance of Spanish intralingual translation. Language has a mutable nature and, therefore, changes over time due to the influences it receives or the speakers themselves who use it. After a brief survey of certain fundamental aspects of the translation process and taking El Quijote as an example, we will analyze fragments of various adaptations of this work to highlight the relevance of this genre of translation and the Spanish language.},
