abstract = {El artículo examina los movimientos protagonizados por los pueblos indígenas en el contexto de la globalización. Se analiza las alianzas de los movimientos indígenas, sus estrategias políticas, la importancia de las identidades, sus demandas y los avances alcanzados en el reconocimiento de sus derechos. El texto también se refiere a los imaginarios sociales que construyen y proyectan los diversos actores sociales implicados en las negociaciones. Finalmente, el autor considera fundamental el esfuerzo y participación de todos los actores sociales para construir sociedades más justas y equitativas.},
abstract = {This article examines the movements by indigenous peoples in the context of the globalization. The paper analyses the alliances of the native movements, its political strategies, the importance of the identities, its demands and the advances reached in the recognition of its rights. The text also refers to the social imaginary that builds and projects the diverse social actors involved in the negotiations. Finally, the author considers fundamental the effort and participation of all the social actors to build more just and equitable societies.},
