Accordingly, a consistent analysis of the corresponding constraints requires the use of the renormalization group equations. We compute the full one-loop renormalization group evolution of all – relevant and marginal – parameters in the effective field theory for axion-like particles up to dimension five, above and below the electroweak scale, assuming only that new physics does not violate CP. We also include a detailed discussion of the different bases used in the literature, the relations among them and the interplay of the CP and shift symmetries.}, organization = {Spanish Government FPA2016-78220-C3-1/3-P}, organization = {Junta de Andalucía FQM 101 A-FQM-211-UGR18 P18-FR-4314}, organization = {Spanish MINECO under the Ramon y Cajal programme}, organization = {LIP (FCT, COMPETE2020-Portugal2020, FEDER) POCI-01-0145-FEDER-0073 34}, organization = {Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology European Commission CERN/FIS-PAR/0024/2019 SFRH/BD/144244/2019}, organization = {Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology European Commission PD/BD/142773/2018}, organization = {Sugar Research Australia PID2019-106087GB-C21/C22}, publisher = {Springer}, title = {Running in the ALPs}, doi = {10.1140/epjc/s10052-021-08968-2}, author = {Rodríguez Chala, Mikael and Guedes, Guilherme and Ramos, María and Santiago Pérez, José}, }
