The data used in this search were recorded by the ATLAS experiment in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of p s = 13TeV during Run 2 of the Large Hadron Collider, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb−1. The results are interpreted in the context of various R-parity-conserving models where squarks and gluinos are produced in pairs or in association and a neutralino is the lightest supersymmetric particle. An exclusion limit at the 95% confidence level on the mass of the gluino is set at 2.30TeV for a simplified model containing only a gluino and the lightest neutralino, assuming the latter is massless. For a simplified model involving the strong production of mass-degenerate first- and second-generation squarks, squark masses below 1.85TeV are excluded if the lightest neutralino is massless. These limits extend substantially beyond the region of supersymmetric parameter space excluded previously by similar searches with the ATLAS detector.}, organization = {ANPCyT}, organization = {YerPhI, Armenia}, organization = {Australian Research Council}, organization = {BMWFW, Austria}, organization = {Austrian Science Fund (FWF)}, organization = {Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS)}, organization = {SSTC, Belarus}, organization = {National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq)}, organization = {Fundacao de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de Sao Paulo (FAPESP)}, organization = {Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC)}, organization = {Canada Foundation for Innovation}, organization = {National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)}, organization = {Departamento Administrativo de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Colciencias}, organization = {Ministry of Education, Youth & Sports - Czech Republic Czech Republic Government}, organization = {Czech Republic Government}, organization = {DNRF, Denmark}, organization = {Danish Natural Science Research Council}, organization = {Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS)}, organization = {CEA-DRF/IRFU, France}, organization = {Federal Ministry of Education & Research (BMBF)}, organization = {Max Planck Society}, organization = {Greek Ministry of Development-GSRT}, organization = {Hong Kong SAR, China}, organization = {Israel Science Foundation}, organization = {Benoziyo Center, Israel}, organization = {Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN)}, organization = {Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan (MEXT)}, organization = {Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan (MEXT) Japan Society for the Promotion of Science}, organization = {CNRST, Morocco}, organization = {RCN, Norway}, organization = {Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Poland}, organization = {NCN, Poland}, organization = {Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology European Commission}, organization = {MNE/IFA, Romania}, organization = {MESTD, Serbia}, organization = {MSSR, Slovakia}, organization = {Slovenian Research Agency - Slovenia}, organization = {MIZS, Slovenia}, organization = {Spanish Government}, organization = {SRC, Sweden}, organization = {Wallenberg Foundation, Sweden}, organization = {Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF)}, organization = {Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan}, organization = {Ministry of Energy & Natural Resources - Turkey}, organization = {UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC)}, organization = {United States Department of Energy (DOE)}, organization = {National Science Foundation (NSF)}, organization = {BCKDF, Canada}, organization = {CANARIE, Canada}, organization = {Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission}, organization = {COST, European Union}, organization = {ERDF, European Union}, organization = {Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, European Union}, organization = {French National Research Agency (ANR)}, organization = {German Research Foundation (DFG)}, organization = {Alexander von Humboldt Foundation}, organization = {Greek NSRF, Greece}, organization = {BSF-NSF, Israel}, organization = {German-Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research and Development}, organization = {La Caixa Banking Foundation, Spain}, organization = {CERCA Programme Generalitat de Catalunya, Spain}, organization = {PROMETEO, Spain}, organization = {Generalitat Valenciana}, organization = {Goran Gustafssons Stiftelse, Sweden}, organization = {Royal Society of London}, organization = {Leverhulme Trust}, organization = {NRC, Canada}, organization = {CERN}, organization = {ANID, Chile}, organization = {Chinese Academy of Sciences}, organization = {Ministry of Science and Technology, China}, organization = {HGF, Germany}, organization = {RGC, China}, organization = {Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) Netherlands Government}, organization = {JINR}, organization = {Russian Federation}, organization = {NRC KI, Russian Federation}, organization = {DST/NRF, South Africa}, organization = {SERI, Switzerland}, organization = {Cantons of Bern and Geneva, Switzerland}, organization = {Compute Canada, Canada}, organization = {CRC, Canada}, organization = {IVADO, Canada}, organization = {European Research Council (ERC)}, organization = {French National Research Agency (ANR)}, organization = {Herakleitos program}, organization = {Thales program}, organization = {Aristeia program}, organization = {EU-ESF, Greece}, publisher = {Springer}, keywords = {Hadron-Hadron scattering (experiments)}, keywords = {Supersymmetry}, title = {Search for squarks and gluinos in final states with jets and missing transverse momentum using 139 fb−1 of p s =13TeV pp collision data with the ATLAS detector}, doi = {10.1007/JHEP02(2021)143}, author = {Aad, G. and Aguilar Saavedra, Juan Antonio}, }
