The considered signature is based upon high ionization in the transition radiation tracker of the inner detector associated with a pencil-shape energy deposit in the electromagnetic calorimeter. The data were collected by a dedicated trigger based on the tracker high-threshold hit capability. The results are interpreted in models of Drell-Yan pair production of stable particles with two spin hypotheses (0 and 1/2) and masses ranging from 200 to 4000 GeV. The search improves by approximately a factor of 5 the constraints on the direct production of magnetic monopoles carrying one or two Dirac magnetic charges and stable objects with electric charge in the range 20≤|z|≤60 and extends the charge range to 60<|z|≤100.}, organization = {YerPhI, Armenia}, organization = {Australian Research Council}, organization = {Austrian Science Fund (FWF)}, organization = {BMWFW, Austria}, organization = {Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS)}, organization = {SSTC, Belarus}, organization = {National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq)}, organization = {Fundacao de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de Sao Paulo (FAPESP)}, organization = {Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC)}, organization = {Canada Foundation for Innovation}, organization = {NRC, Canada}, organization = {CERN}, organization = {Comision Nacional de Investigacion Cientifica y Tecnologica (CONICYT)}, organization = {Chinese Academy of Sciences}, organization = {National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)}, organization = {Ministry of Science and Technology, China}, organization = {Departamento Administrativo de Ciencia, Tecnologia e Innovacion Colciencias}, organization = {Ministry of Education, Youth & Sports - Czech Republic Czech Republic Government}, organization = {Danish Natural Science Research Council}, organization = {DNRF, Denmark}, organization = {Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS)}, organization = {CEA-DRF/IRFU, France}, organization = {SRNSFG, Georgia}, organization = {Max Planck Society}, organization = {HGF, Germany}, organization = {Federal Ministry of Education & Research (BMBF)}, organization = {Greek Ministry of Development-GSRT}, organization = {RGC, Hong Kong SAR, Hong Kong China}, organization = {Benoziyo Center, Israel}, organization = {Israel Science Foundation}, organization = {Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN)}, organization = {Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan (MEXT) Japan Society for the Promotion of Science}, organization = {JINR}, organization = {CNRST, Morocco}, organization = {Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) Netherlands Government}, organization = {RCN, Norway}, organization = {Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Poland}, organization = {NCN, Poland}, organization = {Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology}, organization = {MNE/IFA, Romania}, organization = {NRC KI, Russia Federation}, organization = {MES of Russia, Russia Federation}, organization = {MESTD, Serbia}, organization = {MSSR, Slovakia}, organization = {Slovenian Research Agency - Slovenia}, organization = {MIZS, Slovenia}, organization = {DST/NRF, South Africa}, organization = {MINECO, Spain}, organization = {SRC, Sweden}, organization = {Wallenberg Foundation, Sweden}, organization = {Canton of Bern, Switzerland}, organization = {Canton of Geneva, Switzerland}, organization = {Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF)}, organization = {SERI, Switzerland}, organization = {Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan}, organization = {Ministry of Energy & Natural Resources - Turkey}, organization = {UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC)}, organization = {United States Department of Energy (DOE)}, organization = {National Science Foundation (NSF)}, organization = {CRC, Canada}, organization = {Compute Canada, Canada}, organization = {Canarie, Canada}, organization = {BCKDF, Canada}, organization = {COST, European Union}, organization = {ERDF, European Union}, organization = {European Research Council (ERC)}, organization = {Horizon 2020, European Union}, organization = {French National Research Agency (ANR)}, organization = {Alexander von Humboldt Foundation}, organization = {German Research Foundation (DFG)}, organization = {Herakleitos programme}, organization = {Thales programme}, organization = {Aristeia programme}, organization = {EU-ESF}, organization = {Greek NSRF, Greece}, organization = {BSF-NSF, Israel}, organization = {German-Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research and Development}, organization = {PROMETEO Programme Generalitat Valenciana, Spain}, organization = {CERCA Generalitat de Catalunya, Spain}, organization = {Leverhulme Trust}, organization = {Royal Society of London}, organization = {UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC) ST/S000879/1 ST/N000331/1}, publisher = {American Physical Society}, title = {Search for Magnetic Monopoles and Stable High-Electric-Charge Objects in 13 Tev Proton-Proton Collisions with the ATLAS Detector}, doi = {10.1103/PhysRevLett.124.031802}, author = {Aad, G. and Aguilar Saavedra, Juan Antonio and Atlas Collaboration}, }
