abstract = {Del latente desequilibrio social y arquitectónico en el litoral Mediterráneo Marroquí surge la búsqueda de las nuevas poten- cialidades arquitectónicas y territoriales de esta costa, con un alto grado de implicación sobre la puesta en valor del patrimo- nio y las posibilidades sostenibles de la intervención sobre él. Se está a tiempo de frenar futuros desastres de especulación turística y destrucción del paisaje similares a los vividos en España durante la burbuja inmobiliaria.
La investigación estudia tres capas diferentes del litoral, lle- gando así a una comprensión integral del territorio que nos permite proponer nuevas alternativas arquitectónicas. La pri- mera capa incide en el estudio histórico durante la primera guerra de África (1859-1860); la segunda, en el estudio del paisaje mediante las diferentes unidades geomorfológicas; y la última, el estudio de la evolución del turismo en el litoral du- rante las últimas décadas, así como la localización de las tipo- logías edificatorias propias de los fenómenos turísticos. La búsqueda bibliográfica se acompaña del tratamiento de esta información, contrastada con tareas de campo y georeferencia- das con elaboraciones personales como la labor de tipificación y catalogación de ejemplos patrimoniales defensivos (cuarte- les, reductos y otros elementos defensivos). Finalmente se concluye con el levantamiento de uno de los ejemplos más representativos. La búsqueda de documentación sobre los acontecimientos militares y la posterior elaboración de los hallazgos arquitectónicos nos descubre una red patrimonial. Esta red acompaña a lo largo del litoral las nuevas construc- ciones derivadas del turismo de sol y playa creando un conflic- to entre ambas construcciones y el paisaje que las rodea.
Se concluye que el complejo paisaje marroquí sufre la lucha por la convivencia entre la descuidada red patrimonial y las cuantiosas tipologías turísticas. Resultando esta situación in- sostenible. La acción de los poderes económicos y políticos hacen que este patrimonio sea intencionalmente abandonado para así poder construir un nuevo ejemplo de apartamentos en primera línea de playa. De esta manera se propone una red territorial productiva del patrimonio, a la vez que, se muestra un estudio pormenorizado de uno de los elementos defensivos que termina ejemplificando la relación entre las escalas territo- riales y arquitectónicas.},
abstract = {Nowadays the untenable social and architectural situation in the Moroccan Mediterranean littoral begin the searching the new architectural and territorial potentials of this coast, the high degrees of involvement for the revaluate the heritage and the sustainable possibilities of the intervention on him. Now we are in time of impede future similar disasters of tourist specula- tion and destruction of the landscape that we had lived in Spain during the property speculation time.
The research studies three different layers of the littoral that provide us an integral comprehension of the territory, which allows us to propose new architectural alternatives. The first layer studies the history during the first War of Africa (1859- 1860); the second one, works on the landscape with his differ- ent geomorphological units; and the last one, researches the evolution of tourism in the littoral during the last decades, as well as the location of tourism's building typologies. Through the bibliography consulted we developed this information, we compared and contrasted the validity of the information with field work which has been personally elaborated and located physically, the same as the classification and cataloguing of defensive examples patrimonial (quarters, redoubt and other defensive elements). Finally we conclude with architectural survey of one of the most representative examples. The search of documentation about military history and the post produc- tion of the architectural discoveries show us a patrimonial network. This network accompanies the new sun & sand con- structions across the littoral, this situation create a conflict between both constructions and the landscape that surrounds them.
To sum it up the complex Moroccan landscapes undergo a radical transformation because the coexistence between the careless patrimonial network and the large tourist construc- tions. Turning out to be this situation unsustainable. The action of branches of government do that this heritage is intentionally neglected to be able to built a new example of apartments in the first line of beach. In this way we propose a territorial produc- tive network of the heritage, simultaneously, we show the de- tailed study of one of the defensive elements that ends up exem- plifying the relation between the territorial and architectural scales.},
