quieran encontrarse. La mirada cotidiana que acecha y roba nuestra intimidad puede ser al
mismo tiempo fascinante. Coexistir con un extraño: ¿realidad o ficción?
Este texto parte de la Tesis Doctoral “La habitación en el cine”, donde la ventana aparece como
punto clave entre la arquitectura interior y el mundo.
El hombre de al lado, la puesta en escena de Cohn y Duprat, y el estudio del espacio
doméstico dentro de la única obra construida de Le Corbusier en Latinoamérica, la Casa
Curutchet, en Argentina, sirven para analizar contrastes en las formas de habitar.
Un experimento con alumnos de distintas universidades refleja la síntesis de emociones que
este film suscita, para finalmente apuntar una serie de conclusiones respecto a la sensibilidad
de arquitectos y artistas ante la composición espacial en el cine.},
abstract = {Inhabiting a shared space always supposes a border between two worlds which maybe don’t
want to meet. The quotidian look that lurks and steals our privacy can be at the same time,
fascinating. To coexist with a stranger: reality or fiction?
This topic arises from the PhD Thesis “The Room in Cinema”, where the window appears as a
key point among room architecture and the world.
With The Man Next Door, the mise-en-scene of Cohn and Duprat, and the study of the domestic
space in the only project of Le Corbusier built in Latin America, Curutchet House, in Argentina,
serve as a starting point to analyse the contrast in the styles of habitation.
An experiment carried out with students from different universities resulted in finding the
synthesis of emotions that this film arouses, bringing forth a series of conclusions regarding the
architect’s and artist’s sensibility to spatial composition in cinema.},
