abstract = {La industria minero-metalúrgica de Guanajuato del siglo XVIII exigió la participación de
amplios sectores de la sociedad, incluyendo las mujeres, sobre todo, a partir del gran incremento
de la producción de metales preciosos de la segunda mitad del siglo. Sin embargo, ellas son las
grandes ausentes de la historiografía mexicana a pesar de que se insertaron en diversos espacios
de esa industria, algunas como poseedoras de minas, haciendas de beneficio y zangarros, otras
como rescatadoras de metales. A partir de la trayectoria de dos empresarias mineras propietarias de
distinto tipo de bienes, cuya conservación las obligó a realizar múltiples transacciones y mantener
una estrecha relación con otros empresarios, pretendo mostrar su capacidad empresarial para administrar sus empresas.},
abstract = {The Guanajuato mining-metallurgical industry in the 18th century required the participation
of broad sectors of society, including women, especially after the great increase in the production of
precious metals in the second half of the century. However, they are the great absentees of Mexican
historiography despite the fact that they inserted themselves in various spaces of that industry, some
as owners of mines, haciendas of benefits and ditchers, others as metal rescuers. Thus, based on the
trajectory of two mining businesswomen who own different types of assets, whose preservation forced
them to carry out multiple transactions and maintain a close relationship with other entrepreneurs,
I intend to show their entrepreneurial capacity to manage their companies.},
