En la Plataforma de Ambrosio de Vico –de 1613– son reconocibles, junto a los grandes edificios públicos, algunos de los palacios cristianos que comienzan a caracterizar la ciudad. La arquitectura doméstica que se produce en esta época, representada principalmente por determinadas tipologías como las cuevas, casas moriscas, cármenes, palacios o casas señoriales y corrales de vecinos constituye un elemento esencial de su atractivo.}, abstract = {After the conquest of Granada, the Catholic Monarchs acquired some of the Muslim palaces formerly owned by the Nasrid Kings or high-ranking personalities of the Royal Nasrid Court, whereas others were abandoned by their owners following exile. Most of the latter were given away to distinguished knights in the Catholic conquest, who subsequently made them into their residencies, either adapting them or reconstructing them following new building typologies. Dating from 1613, the old city map known as Plataforma de Ambrosio de Vico already included some of the Christian palaces which were starting to characterize the city.
