abstract = {A través de este estudio pretendemos analizar las diferentes intervenciones llevadas a cabo
en la arquitectura religiosa de la ciudad de Jaén (España) durante la Dictadura Franquista.
Estas actuaciones estaban destinadas a solventar los daños provocados por la Guerra Civil,
así como a mejorar el calamitoso estado que presentaban estos edificios por el paso de
los años. Las mismas fueron financiadas por los principales organismos encargados del
Patrimonio Histórico-Artístico durante esta época (la Dirección General de Regiones
Devastadas, la Dirección General de Arquitectura y la Dirección General de Bellas Artes)
y fueron llevadas a cabo por Francisco Prieto-Moreno Pardo, Ramón Pajares Pardo y
Francisco de Paula López Rivera entre otros, arquitectos a quienes se deben la mayoría
de las actuaciones acometidas en la provincia de Jaén durante la mitad del siglo XX. A
través de la documentación procedente de los diferentes archivos, así como de las fuentes
bibliográficas consultadas, pretendemos hacer una aproximación a las restauraciones
llevadas a cabo en estos monumentos religiosos, la mayoría de las cuales iban en sintonía
con la legislación a nivel nacional. No obstante, también analizaremos ejemplos en los
que estas pautas no son cumplidas, lo cual supuso la total transformación de la fábrica de
estos edificios.},
abstract = {Through this study we analyze the different interventions carried out in the religious
architecture of the city of Jaén (Spain) during the Francoist Dictatorship. These works
were intended to overcome the damage caused by the Civil War, as well as the buildings
poor state of conservation caused by the passage of the years, and were financed by
the main institutions responsible for the historic-artistic heritage during this time (the
General Directorate of Devastated Regions, the General Directorate of Architecture and
the General Directorate of Fine Arts). These interventions were carried out by Francisco
Prieto-Moreno Pardo, Ramón Pajares Pardo and Francisco de Paula López Rivera among
others architects, who carried out the majority of the restorations in the province of Jaén
during the middle of the 20th. century. Through the documentation from different files, as
well as the bibliographic sources consulted, we do an approximation to the restorations
carried out in these religious monuments, most of which were in line with the legislation
at the national level. However, we will also analyze examples in which these guidelines
are not met, which meant the total transformation of these buildings.},
