En concreto y en relación con el profesorado que interviene en grados y masters que forman futuros y futuras docentes se proponen tres dimensiones de tal compromiso. La primera relacionada con la calidad de los aprendizajes que propicia en sus estudiantes; la segunda con la identidad personal y profesional que promueve en los futuros y futuras docentes, y en tercer lugar con la formación ética los mismos. Esta última dimensión del compromiso con la formación ética de los futuros docentes obliga al profesorado universitario a practicar con el ejemplo tanto en la manera de ejercer la docencia como en las maneras de promover el aprendizaje de sus estudiantes y de relacionarse con ellos en los espacios formales e informales de la vida universitaria. En el artículo se aborda especialmente la relevancia del vínculo educativo entre estudiantes y profesorado en la universidad como una vía de aprendizaje ético en el que el profesorado se convierte en referente para el futuro y futura docente.}, abstract = {The article expounds the need for university teachers to undertake their mission on the basis of motivation, which is not only instrumental but also values-based, and to understand their activity as a profession that entails a commitment. Three dimensions of this commitment are proposed specifically for teachers involved in bachelors and master’s degrees studied by teacher-training students. The first refers to the quality of the learning they bring about in their students; the second, to the personal and professional identity they help shape in these prospective schoolteachers; and the third, to their students’ ethical formation. This dimension of the commitment to ethical formation requires university teachers to lead by example both in how they approach their teaching practice and in the ways they promote their students’ learning, including how they network with them in the formal and informal spaces of university life. In particular, the article addresses the relevance of the pedagogical link between students and teachers at the university as a means for ethical learning in which the latter become the reference point for the future teacher.}, publisher = {Universidad de Granada}, keywords = {Compromiso ético}, keywords = {Ética de la alteridad}, keywords = {Ética y profesión}, keywords = {Formación del profesorado}, keywords = {Profesorado universitario}, keywords = {Ethical commitment}, keywords = {Ethics of the alterity}, keywords = {Ethics and profession}, keywords = {Initial teacher education}, keywords = {University teachers}, title = {El compromiso ético del profesorado universitario en la formación de docentes}, doi = {10.30827/profesorado.v24i2.15150}, author = {Martínez Martín, Miquel and Carreño Rojas, Patricio}, }
