abstract = {Las ciudades y su arquitectura han sido objeto de inspiración para el campo
artístico, por lo tanto, el aporte que los artistas han hecho desde sus propuestas
plásticas y proyectos utópicos, han permeado y enriquecido su historia, poniendo
en cuestionamiento las formas en la que estas han configurado el comportamiento
de las sociedades que las habitan.
El siguiente trabajo, utiliza como eje principal el cuadro La Torre de Babel del
artista Brueghuel, para analizar los diferentes aspectos que trae consigo la
configuración de las ciudades; las ideas de utopía, los totalitarismos, la
simbología de la arquitectura y sus implicaciones en las sociedades. De forma
análoga, el texto hace un breve recorrido por las obras de algunos artistas y
arquitectos, tales como Boullée, Ledoux, James Wines, Los metabolistas entre
otros, quienes hicieron aportes significativos al tema en cuestión.
Finalmente, el trabajo presenta “Vórtices en concreto. La arquitectura vertical y
su relación con las utopías: una mirada desde el arte”, proyecto que propone una
serie de dibujos que abordan la ciudad y la arquitectura, por medio de cuatro
estructuras verticales que oscilan entre el absurdo, la distopía y la crítica a las
ciudades contemporáneas.},
abstract = {ABSTRACT: Cities and their architecture have been the object of inspiration for the artistic
field, therefore, the contribution that artists have made from their plastic
proposals and utopian projects, have permeated and enriched their history,
questioning the ways in which these they have shaped the behavior of the
societies that inhabit them.
The following work uses the painting “The Tower of Babel” by the artist
Brueghuel as its main axis, to analyze the different aspects that the configuration
of cities brings; the ideas of utopia, totalitarianism, the symbolism of architecture,
and its implications in societies. In a similar way, the text makes a brief tour of
the works of some artists and architects, such as Boullée, Ledoux, James Wines,
the metabolists among others, who made significant contributions to the subject
in question.
Finally, the work presents "Vórtices in concrete. Vertical architecture and its
relationship with utopias: a look from art", a project that proposes a series of
drawings that address the city and architecture, through four vertical cities that
oscillate between absurdity, dystopia, and criticism of contemporary cities.},
