abstract = {Esta investigación se propone como objetivo tratar de manera transversal
varios conceptos filosóficos vinculados a la tradición amorosa occidental que Octavio Paz
trabajó a lo largo de su obra ensayística y cómo se aplican a su teoría poética. Es decir, cómo
existe una correspondencia absoluta entre la teoría amorosa y la teoría poética que, en
definitiva, terminan por ser la misma para el propio autor. Asimismo, realizaremos una
revisión de dichos aspectos a través del poema “Cuerpo a la vista” (1947), donde figuran
muchos elementos de su teoría amorosa a pesar de ser anterior a El arco y la lira (1956) y muy
anterior a La llama doble (1993).},
abstract = {This paper aims to treat several philosophical concepts related to Love in
Western tradition that Octavio Paz worked on his essays and their application to his Poetics.
That is, how Octavio Paz’s Love theory and Poetics have an absolute correspondence, and,
eventually, how they end up being the same for the author. Then we will review these aspects
through the poem “Cuerpo a la vista” (1947), that shows many elements from his Love
theory, despite the fact that its publication was previous to El arco y la lira (1956) and La
llama doble (1993).},
