abstract = {Cet article se fixe pour objectif de démontrer que la mobilité a toujours été
rendue difficile pour le sujet africain. Tandis que le colonisé était cantonné dans le quartier
indigène où il lui était interdit de se mouvoir ou d’accéder comme il le souhaitait à l’espace du
maître, le sujet postcolonial qui vit dans ce qu’on appelle le village planétaire est confiné chez
lui par les lois sur l’immigration. A partir du roman Le vieux nègre et la médaille de Ferdinand
Oyono (2005) et du film documentaire Clandestins : ils traversent l’enfer pour venir vivre en
France (Comiti et alii, 2013), nous tenterons de montrer comment la colonisation a
conditionné le sujet africain à migrer vers l’espace métropolitain, un illusoire eldorado. En
prenant en compte les modalités de déploiement des personnages fictifs et réels, nous
montrerons qu’un syndrome colonial affecte la gestion de l’espace dans le monde globalisé où
l’Africain n’est pas toujours le bienvenu.},
abstract = {This article aims to demonstrate that mobility has always been made
difficult for the African. While the colonized was confined in slums where he was forbidden
to access as he wished to the colonizer’s space, the movement of the postcolonial African
who lives in so-called globalized world is restricted by immigration laws. Based on Ferdinand
Oyono’s Le vieux nègre et la médaille (2005) and the documentary entitled Clandestins: ils
traversent l’enfer pour venir vivre en France (Comiti et alii, 2013), we will analyze how
colonization make the African to believe that France is a paradise where people can find
happiness and wealth. The trajectory of both fictional and real characters will help to show
that a colonial syndrome affects the management of space in the globalized world where the
African is not always welcome.},
