abstract = {Actualmente existe un gran debate sobre la procedencia y autenticidad de alicatados,
yeserías y tallas en madera de la sala de las Camas del Baño Real de Comares en la
Alhambra. Para contribuir a este debate, en este artículo se investigan las intervenciones
llevadas a cabo durante el siglo XIX por el taller de Rafael Contreras en los diferentes
materiales de esta sala, las técnicas utilizadas y los artesanos artífices de las mismas. Para
ello se han consultado diferentes documentos y legajos del Archivo General de Palacio y
del Archivo Histórico de la Alhambra, y se ha realizado un trabajo de campo con el estudio
de los diferentes materiales y sus técnicas de decoración.},
abstract = {Today, there is an important discussion about the authenticity and provenance of the tiles,
plaster decorations and wood panels in the Hall of the Beds at the Royal Bath in the
Alhambra. With the aim of contributing to this debate, this paper studies the techniques
used at the restorations and the artisans that worked at the different states of these works,
carried out by Rafael Contreras’s workshop in the 19th Century. For this purpose, different
documents and files of the General Archive of the Palace and the Historical Archive of
the Alhambra have been consulted. In addition, a fieldwork has been carried out with the
study of different materials and their decoration techniques.},
