abstract = {El restaurador e historiador del arte alemán Heinz Althöfer fue pionero en 1960 con un
artículo sobre la conservación del arte contemporáneo, en el que planteaba la necesidad
de avanzar en la teoría de la restauración, para actualizar los criterios de la praxis de la
restauración de arte contemporáneo. Por ello exigía una reflexión filosófica, para
utilizar la ciencia y la técnica correctamente. Althöfer hizo hincapié en la
transformación profunda experimentada por el arte contemporáneo, y por tanto también
en su restauración, creando una clara ruptura con el pensamiento Brandiano.},
abstract = {The German restorer and art historian Heinz Althöfer was pioneer in 1960 with an
article about the conservation of contemporary art, in which he considered the need of
an advance in the theory of restoration able to update the criteria of the restoration
praxis concerning contemporary art. To do so he demanded a philosophical reflection in
order to use science and technique rightly. Althöfer stressed the deep change
experienced by contemporary art, as well as by its restoration, leading a clear break with
the Brandian thought.},
