abstract = {Este estudio se centra en los coleccionistas de muñecas asiáticas Ball Jointed Dolls bajo la hipótesis de que es posible encontrar similitudes notables entre el coleccionista y el objeto coleccionado. El estudio se aborda desde la ilustración, más concretamente desde el retrato. Se pretende trabajar con la línea, apartando lo máximo posible la fotografía ya que pensamos que esta disciplina, puede llegar a distraer de los rasgos parecidos que buscamos. El estudio comienza con una base teórica, ya que el tema de las muñecas Ball Jointed Doll ha sido tratado en estudios propios anteriores y se han desarrollado proyectos donde son usadas como pretexto. Se desarrolla mediante veinticuatro dibujos a grafito que más tarde serán completados con acuarela, tratando de resaltar, si existieran, esos rasgos comunes que hipotéticamente buscamos.
La investigación culminará con un libro ilustrado recopilatorio donde se incluirán todas las imágenes realizadas. Estas imágenes por otro lado irán acompañadas de una serie de frases o textos escritos por los mismos coleccionistas de modo que ellos y sus muñecos puedan sentirse representados con las palabras y los dibujos.
El libro por otro lado, no solo es un recopilatorio que aúna todo el trabajo realizado si no que tiene la utilidad de ser la conclusión visual. Las imágenes han sido pensadas desde un inicio para ser visualizadas por pares, de modo que al ocupar, cada participante una doble página, acompañado a su vez de las frases que ellos mismos han redactado, ofrece una visión general, completa, de los resultados que se han obtenido con la investigación.},
abstract = {ABSTRACT: This study is based on “Ball Jointed Dolls” (asian dolls) collectors, under the hypothesis that it is posible to find important similarities between the collector and the collected item. The study is approached through illustration, specifically through portraits. We aim to work with lines and color, trying to avoid photography as much as possible, because we really think that artistic discipline could distract the viewer from the similarities we are searching for. The study starts with theoric fundamentals, due to the fact that the Ball Jointed Dolls topic has been studied before in other personal research and projects, where they have been used as the main subject. 
We aim to develop the project within twenty four drawings made with graphite, that will be completed with watercolor, trying to highlight, if they existed, those common features we are searching for.
The research will give us a final result, which will be an illustrated book, a compilation which will include all the created images. Those images, by themselves, are meant to be combined with phrases or texts written by the collectors themselves. That way them and their dolls will be accurately depicted through words and drawings.
The book itself wouldn’t be just a compilation that shows all the work done, but it would also be the visual conclusion to it. The images have been created under the need to have them in pairs. That way each participant would get a double page, with the phrases they have written, and that would offer a whole and complete vision of the results we obtained through the investigation.},
