abstract = {Resumen: El propósito de este trabajo consiste en mostrar cómo una concreta intervención en el patrimonio histórico y cultural, en el caso la recuperación a lo largo de la pasada década de los noventa de la memoria del naturalista suizo Moisés Bertoni (1857-1929) en Paraguay mediante la creación de un museo en Alto Paraná, en la triple frontera entre Paraguay, Brasil y Argentina (donde Bertoni estableciera su colonia agrícola experimental «Guillermo Tell» a fines del siglo XIX) y la desmitificación de su figura histórica, acabó derivando en un conflicto entre sus impulsores a causa de las distintas identidades e intereses de los mismos: por un lado, la ONG suiza Helvetas-Paraguay, entidad encargada del proyecto, por otro los técnicos suizos procedentes de otras organizaciones igualmente interesadas en desarrollar labores de recuperación patrimonial del legado de Bertoni y, finalmente, los técnicos y las autoridades estatales paraguayas, tanto como los descendientes paraguayos de Bertoni, ligados a muchas concepciones históricas y modos de entender y actuar muy diferentes a los europeos.},
abstract = {Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to show how a particular intervention about cultural and historical heritage, throughout the nineties of the past century, for recovery the memoir of the Swiss naturalist Moisés Bertoni (1857-1929) in Paraguay by creating a museum in Alto Parana on the triple border between Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina (place where Bertoni established his experimental farming colony named «Guillermo Tell», in the late 19th century) and demystifying his historical figure, ultimately led to a conflict between its promoters due to its different identities and interests: first, the Swiss NGO Helvetas-Paraguay, institution in charge of the project; secondly, another technicians also from other Swiss organizations interested in developing recovery efforts over Bertoni’s legacy; and finally, local technicians and Paraguayan state authorities, as well as Paraguayan Bertoni’s descendants, all them subject to a lot of historical conceptions and ways of understanding and acting very different from Europeans.},
