abstract = {En el presente artículo se han abordado las características particulares y distintivas de dos regiones latinoamericanas caracterizadas por ser sociedades multiétnicas y plurinacionales, como son México y Perú. El enfoque metodológico ha sido de índole cualitativo, a través el análisis de documentos oficiales y fuentes secundarias con el objetivo principal de conocer cómo se han ido perfilando las políticas educativas destinadas a las poblaciones indígenas y conocer en qué condiciones políticas, sociales y económicas se han desarrollado. En este sentido, se pretende poner de manifiesto como los distintos movimientos indigenistas y el reconocimiento paulatino de las minorías indígenas por parte de la administración educativa han potenciado el desarrollo de un modelo de educación intercultural de calidad para toda la ciudadanía en estas regiones, fomentando el diálogo intercultural.},
abstract = {This addresses the particular and distinctive features of two Latin American regions characterised by the multi-ethnic and plurinational nature of their societies, such as Mexico and Peru. A qualitative methodological approach has been used, focused on the analysis of official documents and secondary sources, with the aim of understanding how the educational policies aimed at indigenous populations have been defined and identifying the political, social and economic conditions in which they have been developed. In this sense, it is intended to show how the different indigenous movements and the gradual recognition of indigenous minorities by the educational administrations have promoted the development of a model of intercultural education with high standards for all citizens in these regions, fostering an intercultural dialogue.},
