abstract = {Si la guerra de Granada, con sus fases y diversas capitulaciones, es el pilar determinante
de la configuración característica del antiguo regino nasri durante la primera
mitad del siglo XVI, la defensa, con sus prioridades estratégicas, fases y circunstancias,
es uno de los parámetros esenciales que definirán el Reino de Granada como un área de
frontera con África durante la segunda mitad del siglo XVI.
La defensa frente al inquietante Mar de Alborán condicionará el hábitat y repoblamiento
del Reino y sentará las bases de una dinámica social y económica que harán del granadino
del siglo XVI un hombre de frontera.},
abstract = {If the war of Granada with its different stages and peace agreements stands as the
main starting point for the future developement of the ancient nasri kingdom during the
first half of the XVIth century; we should also consider the fact that its strategical needs
were associated with its definition as a border land between the iberian peninsula and the
north of Africa during the second half of the XVIth century.
Defense priorities against a hypothetical threat coming from the Alboran sea are
going to mark the resettlement and living conditions inside the kingdom and also the basis for
a new social and economic developement which will make the new inhabitants of the Granada
area, basically a race of men and women closely linked to the borders of their kingdom.},
