abstract = {El  servicio  de  millones  fue  otorgado  por  las  Cortes  castellanas  en  el  reinado  de  Felipe 
II,  consistiendo  al  principio  en  una  sisa  sobre  el  vino,  vinagre,  aceite  y  carne.  En 
Granada,  entre  1601  y  1625,  la  imposición  se  administró  mediante  arrendamiento  anual 
en  subasta  pública.  Las  cantidades  en  que  se  adjudicaron  las  sisas  a  los  mayores  postores 
permiten  seguir  la  fluctuación  del  valor  de  las  mismas  en  los  años  indicados;  mientras 
que  las  quiebras  que  hubo  en  las  rentas  una  vez  arrendadas  y  las  cuentas  referentes  a  la 
recaudación  presentadas  por  algunos  arrendatarios  nos  aproximan  a  la  diferencia  que 
hubo  entre  la  cantidad  pagada  por  el  arriendo  y  la  cobrada.  Por  otra  parte,  el  parentesco 
que  unía  a  algunos  participantes  y  los  bienes  que  hipotecaron  dan  una  idea  de  la 
burguesía granadina a comienzos del siglo

abstract = {The  “servicio  de  millones”  was  granted  by  the  Castilian  Cortes  in  the  period  of  Philip 
the  Second,  and  consisted  at  the  beginning  of  a  “sisa”  (tax)  on  wine,  vinegar,  oil  and 
meat.  In  Granada,  between  1601  and  1625,  this  imposition  was  administrated  through 
annual  leasing  at  public  auction.  The  amounts  awarded  by  the  “sisas”  to  the  best  bidders 
allow  us  to  follow  the  fluctuation  of  their  value  in  the  afore  mentioned  years,  while  the 
collapse  of  rents  and  the  taking  amounts  presented  by  some  leasers,  give  us  an  idea  of 
the  difference  between  the  amounts  paid  for  the  rent  and  the  ones  received.  On  the  other 
hand,  the  family  relationships  among  some  participants,  and  the  goods  the  mortgaged, 
illustrates  certain  social  realities  among  the  bourgeoisie  in  Granada  at  the  begining  of  the 
seventeenth century},
