En este artículo se presenta un decálogo en el que se trata de defender las virtudes del uso de la literatura para el aprendizaje del inglés por medio de un texto (The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 133/4 de Sue Townsend) que en su momento fue un best seller y que por su temática y estilo narrativo resulta de gran
éxito entre los aprendientes. El artículo incluye una propuesta de actividades para realizar en clase en los últimos cursos de educación secundaria o bachillerato.},
abstract = {The use of literary texts in the foreign language classroom is not so common in Spain. This paper puts forward a decalogue of the potential advantages of literary texts when it comes to learning English. The chosen text, Sue Townsend’s The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 133/4, has been a best seller and, due to its style and the topics dealt with, turns out to be very successful among students. The article also presents a number of activities to be implemented in class in the last years of secondary education or in Baccalaureate.},
