Caballero Bonald, quien se distingue por su estética proteica, su barroquismo y su sintaxis poliédrica. Comienzan a funcionar aquí aquellos rasgos que le caracterizarán en el futuro, tales como un yo diluido, la diseminación de la referencialidad, la autorreferencialidad, y una crítica radical de la visión plana de la historia. A través del análisis de los poemas desvelamos esas claves que evitan la propaganda del realismo social, pero sin renunciar a una poesía de compromiso civil y fuerte componente emocional.},
abstract = {Published in 1959, Las horas muertas is an essential book on the career of J. M. Caballero Bonald, who is distinguished by his protean aesthetic, his baroque style, and his syntax full of polyhedrons. The features that will characterize the author in the future start to work here, such as the diluted self, the spread of the referentiality, the self-referentiality, and a radical critique of the flat approach of History. Through the analysis of the poems, we unveil those keys that avoid the propaganda of social realism, but without relinquishing a poetry of civil commitment and a strong emotional component.},
