abstract = {The most important varieties of diagenetic gypsum found in the Granada basin are: microcrystalline brownish gypsum wich correspond to lacustrine limestones that were sinsedimentary replaced; alabastrine gypsum which is the result of the transformation (via anhidrite) of the primary gypsums represented in the Granada basin (selenitic gypsum and gypsiferous turbidites) and, finally, a fibrous gypsum which fill in veins parallel to rock laminations and laterformed fractures.},
