abstract = {El artículo, segunda parte de una trilogía acerca de la posmodernidad, expone la caracterización de ésta en dos autores. En el primero de ellos, Gianni Vattimo, la posmodernidad aparece como «pensamiento débil», deudor de los avatares del pensar en este siglo XX, tras la «caída» del existencialismo y del materialismo dialéctico. Un pensamiento débil y una ontología débil, forma posible y «adecuada» de pensar después de Nietzsche y de Heidegger. En el segundo de los autores, Jean-François Lyotard, la condición posmoderna es la resultante del abandono de los grandes relatos y de la transformación consecuente del saber, de su estatuto, alcance y justificación.},
abstract = {This article, the second part of three on postmodernity, presents the characterization of postmodernity in the writings of two authors. The first, Gianni Vattimo, describes postmodernity as «weak thought», source of the change in thought in the XX century, after the «fall» of existentialism and of dialectical materialism. A weak thought and a weak ontology, a possible and «appropriate» form of thinking after Nietzsche and Heidegger. In the second of the authors, Jean-François Lyotard, the postmodern condition is seen as the result of abandoning grand stories and the consequent transformation of knowledge, its statute, reach, and its justification.},
