abstract = {Este artículo analiza el simbolismo de la sangre en el libro del Apocalipsis desde una perspectiva integral que aúna cromatismo, símbolo y teología. A través de un análisis semántico y situando el texto en el marco teórico de la percepción del color en la Antigüedad, se examina cómo la sangre no es solo un elemento narrativo, sino una "revelación cromática" de la palabra de Dios. El estudio identifica tres categorías fundamentales: la sangre del Cordero, signo de redención y vida; la sangre de los mártires, vinculada al testimonio y la justicia divina; y la sangre de los cataclismos, que simboliza el juicio y la destrucción Se concluye que las distintas tonalidades del rojo (desde el vivo escarlata hasta el negruzco de la sangre coagulada) actúan como un código teológico que actualiza y profundiza el mensaje del Nuevo Testamento.},
abstract = {This article analyzes the symbolism of blood in the Book of Revelation from a comprehensive perspective that combines chromatism, symbol, and theology. Through a semantic analysis and by placing the text within the theoretical framework of color perception in Antiquity, it examines how blood is not merely a narrative element but a "chromatic revelation" of God's word. The study identifies three fundamental categories: the blood of the Lamb, a sign of redemption and life; the blood of the martyrs, linked to testimony and divine justice; and the blood of cataclysms, symbolizing judgment and destruction. It concludes that the various shades of red (from bright scarlet to the blackish hue of coagulated blood) act as a theological code that updates and deepens the message of the New Testament.},
