abstract = {In this paper we've tried to offer to the interested readers a whole suitable translation of the brief handbook about Latin metres, written by Fl. Mallius Theodorus (cons. 399 d. C.). We've made our translation on the basis of Keil's critical text edition (GLK VI, pp. 585-601). In the copious footnotes that go with the text we've attempted to locate his metrical teaching in the frame of the rhythmical and metrical theories of the Late Antiquity.},
