abstract = {En el siguiente artículo se elaborará un análisis de dos afecciones relacionadas con la pérdida de la vista, la ambliopía (ἀμβλυωπία) y la amaurosis (ἀμαύρωσις), a partir de dos tipos de fuentes: médicas y lexicográficas. Asimismo, serán objeto de estudio los verbos derivados de estas dos enfermedades: ἀμβλυωπέω, ἀμβλυώττω y ἀμαυρόω. El objetivo del estudio es determinar, mediante estas fuentes, hasta qué punto difería una afección de la otra y, además, arrojar algo de luz sobre el uso que los antiguos daban a estos términos y a sus correspondientes verbos.},
abstract = {In the following article, two conditions related to sight loss, amblyopia (ἀμβλυωπία) and amaurosis (ἀμαύρωσις), will be analysed drawing on two types of sources: medical and lexicographical. The verbs derived from these two diseases will also be studied: ἀμβλυωπέω, ἀμβλυώττω and ἀμαυρόω. The aim of the study is to determine, by means of these sources, to what extent one condition differed from the other and, additionally, to shed some light on the usage of these terms and their corresponding verbs by the ancients.},
