In this context, Arqus Termbase (ATB) (AA 2023), a multilingual terminology database, is dedicated to terminology collections related to the Arqus European University Alliance's proprietary terms as well as to European higher education. Today, while the proliferation of chatbots has changed the way organisations interact with their users in a wide range of sectors (Caldarini et al. 2022, 1), their application in terminology resources is still rare. In view of this situation, with the aim of providing personalised assistance to ATB end-users, this research focuses on the design of a chatbot suitable for their query needs. The result is ArqusTermBot, a prototype of a chatbot with a double purpose. On the one hand, it offers guidance on the use of the terminology resource and, on the other hand, it provides general information about the field of terminology. Thus, this study explores the integration of chatbots in the field of terminology management as a tool to improve the end-user experience and provide a channel to receive their comments and suggestions in a timely manner.}, publisher = {Peter Lang}, keywords = {terminology management}, keywords = {chatbots}, keywords = {Arqus Termbase}, keywords = {ArqusTermBot}, title = {ArqusTermBot: un chatbot en el ámbito terminológico}, doi = {9783631924709}, author = {Ortiz-Garduño, Helena and Castillo Pérez, Esther and Montero Martínez, Silvia}, }
