abstract = {En estas páginas se realiza un examen del Convenio Marco sobre Inteligencia Artificial, derechos humanos, democracia y Estado de Derecho identificando las claves de esta regulación internacional en el ámbito de las biometrías. Asimismo se examina la jurisprudencia más relevante del Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos en torno a las condiciones y obligaciones que se establecen para delimitar el uso de las tecnologías biométricas y su adecuación a los derechos protegidos por el Convenio Europeo de Derechos Humanos. Dignidad, igualdad, libertad y, de modo singular, la identidad personal y la privacidad se sitúan en el centro de este análisis desarrollado de acuerdo con una visión humanista de la inteligencia artificial. 

This paper will examine the Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence, human rights, democracy and the Rule of Law and identify the key elements of this international regulation in the field of biometrics. It also examines the most relevant jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights on the conditions and obligations established to delimit the use of biometric technologies and their compliance with the rights protected by the European Convention on Human Rights. Dignity, equality, freedom and, in particular, personal identity and privacy are at the core of this analysis developed according to a humanistic perspective to artificial intelligence.},
