abstract = {El presente artículo discute ciertos procesos de investigación y producción artística transdisciplinar que se originan mediante la cohesión entre disciplinas y sus particulares metodologías colaborativas. Los materiales y procedimientos científicos que aquí se destacan son los componentes principales en la construcción de piezas sonoras, visuales e instalaciones audiovisuales, pues es relevante indagar en la investigación dirigida por la práctica artística dentro de la corriente denominada 'Arte, ciencia, tecnología y sociedad' (ACTS). En el amplio campo de la creación audiovisual analizamos las obras derivadas de dicha práctica partiendo de encuentros con científicos y revisando los distintos experimentos conducidos en sus laboratorios, con el fin de establecer inusuales mecanismos en la generación de conocimiento y así cuestionar la figura del artista en la sociedad, la producción objetual del arte, el sistema del arte y sus instituciones, y la investigación en el arte contemporáneo.},
abstract = {This article discusses certain processes of transdisciplinary artistic research and production that originate through the cohesion between disciplines and their particular collab-orative methodologies. The scientific materials and procedures highlighted here are the main components in the construction of sound, visual and audiovisual installations, as it is relevant to inquire into the research directed by the artistic practice within the current called ‘art, science, technology and society’ (ACTS). In the broad field of audiovisual creation, we analyze works derived from this practice, starting from encounters with scientists and reviewing the different experiments conducted in their laboratories, in order to establish unusual mechanisms in the generation of knowledge and thus question the figure of the artist in society, the objectual production of art, the art system and its institutions, and research in contemporary art.},
