abstract = {En el presente trabajo se desarrolla un análisis sobre una tipología judicial realmente extraña
en la Justicia Eclesiástica hispalense, los pleitos morales sobre el correcto bautismo de esclavos. Por
ser responsabilidad de los amos el buen adoctrinamiento católico a los esclavos, en el caso de no
cumplir con ello podía surgir una mácula o cargo de conciencia en el amo. Se han localizado dos
pleitos de este tipo para la ciudad de Sevilla que aunque presentan diferencias también se encuentran
similitudes. Han sido analizados para poder estudiar esta cuestión en la Sevilla de la Edad Moderna.},
abstract = {This paper presents a developed analysis of a truly strange judicial typology in the Ecclesiastical
Justice of Seville, the moral disputes over the correct baptism of slaves. Since it was the responsibility of the masters to properly indoctrinate the slaves in Catholicism, if they did not comply with
this, a taint or a charge of conscience could arise in the master. Two lawsuits of this type have been
located for the city of Seville in which similarities and differences can be appreciated. They have
been analysed in order to study this issue in Seville during the Modern Age.},
