abstract = {Con la imposición dictatorial, cada uno de los pasos dado en materia de género por la II Repú- blica se desanduvo. En el seno marital, la abolición del derecho al divorcio, la reinstauración de los delitos de abandono de familia y de adulterio sellaron el vínculo eterno que debía ser el matrimonio canónico. Y, aunque la separación no estaba contemplada como figura jurídica en el franquismo, numerosas mujeres transgredieron la norma. El análisis de documentación judicial y de los expe- dientes del Tribunal Tutelar de Menores ha permitido arrojar luz sobre las causas que las condujeron a tomar tal determinación. También sobre las consecuencias no solo legales, sino también sociales, que tuvieron sus actos y de las que hemos podido concluir que la unidad familiar se antepuso a la integridad física y psicológica de las mujeres.},
abstract = {Because of the dictatorial impositions, each of the steps taken on gender issues by the Second Republic were reversed. In the marital sphere, the abolition of the divorce or the reenactment of the crimes of abandonment of family and adultery sealed the eternal bond that the canonical marriage was supposed to be. And even though separation was not considered a legal figure under Franco’s regime, many women transgressed the rule. The analysis of judicial documentation and the files of the Juvenile Guardianship Court has shed light on the reasons that led them to take such a decision. And also on the consequences that their actions had, not only the legal ones, but also the social ones to conclude that the family unit took precedence over the physical and psychological integrity of the women.},
